Geico Award Program - $1,000 prize

Apply today for GEICO's 2009 Achievement Award

Geico will award $1,000.00 to one outstanding sophomore or junior majoring in a business or an IT-related degree program. Geico strives to encourage achievement in fields related to the operations of an insurance company, and for students to recognize GEICO as an employer of choice for post-graduation career opportunities.
The recipient of the Achievement Award may be recommended by a faculty or staff member.
Guidelines for student recommendation, and ultimately selection are:
o Be a sophomore or junior at a four-year, accredited college or university
o Has achieved at least a 3.0 overall grade point average
o Is accomplished in his/her field of study
o Is involved in his/her campus or community
Students are required to submit a completed application, resume, unofficial transcripts, a short essay on why they are the best person to receive the award, and a sealed letter of recommendation. All application information must be submitted to GEICO and postmarked no later than February 7, 2009.
