Title: Multifunctional Financial Analyst


Required skills:
Bachelors degree in Business Administration. Strong computer skills. Able to develop and customize Microsoft Access databases and Excel specifically with Financial Analysis information. Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Power Point and being able to present financial and procurement information to IT management. Demonstrate ability to work and communicate well with various diverse groups and personnel, strong communication skills.Ability to obtain a security clearance.

Desired skills:
Minor in Information System (MIS)and Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance preferred. Some Microsoft SQL, Access or Oracle database development skills. Some basic skills with planning and submitting procurement requisitions.

Specific Job Description:
Specifically works the IT Technical Operations (Engineering) budget, estimate-at-completion (EACs), and actual expenditure analysis along with Supervisor direction. Performs preliminary IT acquisition functions such as Purchase Requisitions (PRs) or Electronic Materials Requisition (EMRs) with some Business Case Analysis.

Standard Job Description:
Performs one or more multiple financial activities within various finance job functions. Compiles and reviews budgets using actual performance, previous budget figures, estimated revenue, expense reports, and other data sources to control funds and provide for proper financial administration. Performs multiple financial cost analyses functions, including cost allocation, setting up cost control systems, collecting data, controlling costs and preparing reports that maintain the company's cost accounting system. Ensures that costs are allocated according to established procedures. Applies principles of accounting to analyze financial information and prepare financial reports. Maintains or oversees the control of accounts and records in such areas as disbursements, expenses, tax payments, and income.
